Dr. Amy Pagliarini, LAc.
Amy Pagliarini, DACM, LAc. is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner who serves as a guide for her patients on their unique paths toward wellness. With a deep commitment to integrative, individualized care, and rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Amy provides access to the tools, resources, and support needed for true healing.
Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and licensed in New York (LAc.), Amy holds a Doctor of Acupuncture (DACM) in the state of Rhode Island. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2015. Amy also earned an additional certification with Virgina Dorin, LAc, MS, LMT, for her Facial rejuvenation with Acupuncture in 2014.
Her clinical experience is both broad and deep, including internships at NYU Langone’s Initiative for Women with Disabilities, the Veterans Hospital NY Harbor Healthcare System, and The Fortune Society. Amy has worked extensively with a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, fertility and reproductive health, emotional wellness (stress, anxiety, depression), digestive concerns, migraines, chronic illness, and pain management.
From 2016 to 2018, she contributed to a clinical trial on acupuncture and chronic pain management, a collaborative study between Albert Einstein College of Medicine and PCOM-NY (published as Nielsen et al., 2019 – AADDOPT). During that time, she completed Dr. Arya Nielson, PHd Gua sha Certification Course.
Her holistic approach blends traditional Chinese medicine with modern research and compassionate care. She develops customized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle guidance—rooted in careful listening, palpation, and observation.
Beyond the clinic, Amy is passionate about holistic living. She is an avid meditator, a lifelong student of yoga, and a dedicated fitness enthusiast. A nature lover at heart, she enjoys time outdoors and has a deep appreciation for good music, nourishing food and meaningful connection. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and served eight years in the United States Air Force.
